  1. 1

    Charge it

Plug in the included USB-C cable and charge it fully before first use. Any standard phone charger works.

  2. 2

    Switch it on

Press the power button. Your library is already on the memory card we fitted before shipping, so there is nothing to download or set up.

  3. 3

    Choose a collection and reciter

Use the buttons on the radio to move between collections, reciters and surahs. The display shows what is playing.

  4. 4

    Listen your way

Set the volume and let it play, or plug headphones into the headphone jack. Leave it plugged in permanently if it lives in one room.

Questions

Help with your radio

Everyday use

How do I charge it?

Over USB-C, with the included cable and any standard phone charger. A full charge is rated for 5–6 hours of playback. You can keep listening while it charges, and it is fine to leave it plugged in if it stays in one room.

Can I use headphones?

Yes — plug them into the headphone jack. It is the easiest way to listen late at night without waking anyone.

Where are the recitations stored?

On the micro-SD card we fit inside the radio before it ships. Keep the card in place — the radio needs it to play your library.

If something isn't working

There is no sound

Turn the volume up, and check nothing is plugged into the headphone jack — the speaker goes quiet when headphones are connected.

It won't switch on

The battery is probably flat. Charge it over USB-C for at least 30 minutes, then try again.

I hear a radio station or static instead of recitations

The radio can also receive broadcast stations. Switch the source back to the memory card — the screen shows which source is playing.

The library won't play

Switch the radio off, check the memory card is pushed fully into its slot, and switch it back on. If it still won't play, contact us before trying anything else — please don't reformat the card, as that erases the library.

Still stuck?

Every radio has a one-year hardware warranty from the day it arrives. Send us your order number and a short description — a photo or video helps — and a person will get back to you.
