Pre-order customers: your 30-day return window and one-year warranty both start on the day your radio is delivered, not the day you ordered. Waiting for a batch never eats into your rights. If you want to cancel before dispatch instead, see the pre-order terms — that's a full refund, no questions asked.
30-day returns
If the radio isn't right for you, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
To be eligible, the radio needs to be in re-sellable condition and returned with everything that came in the box — the charging cable, the guide, and the packaging. Normal handling is fine; we just can't resell a unit that's been damaged.
How to start a return
Contact us with your order number and a sentence about why it's coming back. We'll send return instructions and the address. Please don't ship anything back before you've heard from us — unannounced returns are difficult to match to an order.
Once the radio arrives and we've checked it, your refund goes back to the original payment method. Bank processing usually takes a few business days after that.
Who pays return shipping
If the radio arrived faulty or we sent the wrong item, we cover return shipping. If you're returning it because you changed your mind, return postage is yours to cover. Original shipping charges aren't refunded on change-of-mind returns.
One-year warranty
Every Ummah Radio is covered for one year from delivery against manufacturing and hardware faults. If the unit fails through normal use in that window, we'll repair or replace it at no cost to you.
The warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, water damage, or wear from misuse — a dropped or submerged radio isn't a manufacturing fault. Batteries lose some capacity over time; that's normal and isn't covered as a defect.
Making a warranty claim
Get in touch with your order number and a description of what's happening. Photos or a short video help a lot. We'll diagnose it with you and arrange the repair or replacement from there.
Gifts
If you bought a radio as a gift, the return window still runs from the original delivery date. Given pre-order timing is uncertain, we'd suggest not promising a radio for a specific occasion until you have a dispatch confirmation from us.
